We became foster parents because there is a huge need & we believed whatever sacrifices we would make, paled in comparison to the importance of standing in the gap for these children who so desperately deserve it. That said, it can be emotionally exhausting and overwhelming in certain seasons. Our Aaron Project team has come alongside us, and encouraged us in so many ways. Their commitment to prayer & supporting us in so many practical ways has been unbelievable! – Jen

Serving for a foster family in my community has enriched my life beyond measure. I am constantly humbled when I realize how much work and dedication these families have committed to love and care for the broken little hearts that come to them from the foster care system. I feel like I am able to make a difference by supporting deserving people who have embarked on the difficult, but rewarding, journey to foster. My decision to help a family simply once or twice a month has been such an encouragement to them! I encourage you to join the Aaron Project team to touch the lives of our brothers and sisters in Whatcom County. – Emily
